I got great value for my money with a comfortable room and a stunning view of the Tianjin Eye from my window. The hotel's location was perfect, with plenty of Chinese restaurants and take-away options nearby. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and made me feel right at home.

The breakfast offerings could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

Charged extra 15% service charge with stated not clearly in the booking fee and I don't see why they have to charge customer service charge, at least they could have me with the luggage show me the room, which they didn't !!!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The best aspects were the spacious rooms with a separate seating area and sleeping area, the spectacular view of the Tianjin Eye from the room, and the helpful and friendly staff who spoke English. The hotel's location on the waterfront was perfect for walking along the HaiHe River promenade and exploring the city's major tourist attractions like Italian Style Town, which was just a scenic bike ride away. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious food options, and the bar had a lovely selection of cocktails. The cleanliness of the hotel and its facilities, including ample parking and convenient transportation options, further enhanced our experience.

It was with some effort possible to find helpful staff

Staff was really not switched on. Worn out. No attendance to details. Taxi supply poor. Smokers. Breakfast. Fellow guests.

Although catching a taxi can be a bit challenging, it is manageable with a little patience. The rooms are spacious and clean, offering a comfortable stay. The bathroom is well-maintained and stocked with all the necessary amenities. The service provided by the staff is exceptional, with friendly and helpful employees ready to assist at any time. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious options to start your day off right. Additionally, the hotel provides stunning views of the river and surrounding areas.

While the service in this hotel is generally impeccable, there have been a few instances where some staff members seemed indifferent during the checkout process.

We were those taking off early and the hotel's location near the Tianjin Eye and train station made our stay extremely convenient. The room had a great view of the river and the bridges, and the bathroom was excellent. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, both Chinese and 'western'. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Joe who went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. The hotel also had a self-service convenience store, albeit requiring Wechat Pay or Alipay.

Great location, just opposite the river, with easy access to many touristic sites in old part of the city. Cleanliness was remarkable; hotel facilities and breakfast, impressive. Moreover, the staff was outstandingly helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay.

The hotel was conveniently located near many tourist attractions including a stunning riverside promenade and a famous wheel. The room was spacious and had a great view of the river and bridges. The breakfast offered a great selection of both Chinese and Western options. Additionally, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making my city trip even more enjoyable.

While the room itself felt clean, there was a faint smell of smoke most likely from someone smoking in a non-smoking room. Additionally, some common areas like the lobby seemed a bit unkempt with cigarette butts on the ground.

We enjoyed walking along the river and taking in the beautiful scenery. The hotel facilities were great, especially the pool, which was clean and well-maintained. The buffet breakfast was delicious with a wide range of options to choose from. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel's food outlet provided excellent meals, and we even had dinner there after a long day of work.

Our stay at Holiday Inn was made even more enjoyable by the breathtaking views of the Tianjin Eye. The corner room upgrade for Spire Elites gave us ample space and incredible scenery. The breakfast buffet offered a mix of western and local favorites, with a special area for IHG members. Despite the slight inconvenience of a smoking smell in our non-smoking room, the overall experience was solid and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel for its great location, views, and value for money.

Great location, right next to the river, and close to a lot of good restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and cozy with a comfortable bed. I enjoyed spending time at the rooftop bar, which had an amazing view of the city skyline and was a great place to relax after a long day of exploring.

My experience was marred by some negative aspects. the noise level in the room was quite high, especially during the night, which made it difficult to sleep well.
